"My name is Shreena and I want to tell you why I choose to be here:
I have had enough of the exploitation:
the treating of our fellow humans as "resources;" therefore maintaining an idea that one has the right to exploit them. The systematic rape of our mother, Mother Earth. The state of fear imposed by a regime that was meant to protect us. Because of these conditions and many more, I choose to resist and fight back. We are still at the point where peaceful revolution is possible.
This goes beyond jobs and corporate domination and greed. The life and future of our planet is at stake. I want us all to feel that weight, of what we are trying to accomplish and fight for in this movement. And it is okay. Because carrying that weight alone will break a back, but united we can hoist it above our heads and break it back! Let us suffer and fight so that our children may have a better world. Thank you."
"Unemployment is between 13% and 25% for people under 25. Student loans are defaulting at about 15% at a time when more young people have no alternative but to borrow to pay for school."

"I believe that the monetary system we worship, is intangible and is merely a figment of our imaginations. Rather than being based on human needs for water, food, shelter and love, it is a monetary system based on cheap, non-renewable fossil fuels that have peaked after leaving us addicted and with a distressed climate.
This movement in Worcester is growing. People are waking up and joining the fight. With this much love and passion and dedication, we cannot fail.
There is a Navajo proverb that says 'We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors. We borrow it from our children." So let's return this Earth to future generations in much better shape than we have it today. Thank you."
Corporations are doing much more than just taking our jobs. It is Corporations like Massey Energy that are blowing off the Appalachian mountaintops and destroying what nature created millions of years ago. It is Corporations like Bayer that are killing our honey bees. And it is the Big Banks, that have facilitated all of this by funding the corporate machine, foreclosing on innocent people's homes, They're abusing our brothers and sisters and raping the Earth. Our politicians that are supposed to represent us, have been bought out by corporations.
challenging corporations in politics and campaign finance reform will take a while and we are willing to give Occupy Worcester time to build.
The reason why Occupy is so successful is because we are persistent, rather than sitting around and doing nothing about thewe are channeling our anger into activism,
In numbers we make an impact. We are TOO BIG to fail. Goliath, your days are numbered. I have an outline for a strategy that i would like to share. Please meet with me afterwards if you want to hear it.
We need to pick a day on consensus. We need to paint the town red with motivating, kick-ass flyers. we need to build momentum by occupying by mass in the daytime. We need to identify well beforehand, who is willing to get arrested and possibly have these people in waves (if there are enough people). We need organized legal training beforehand to make sure everyone knows there rights and what to do in the face of cops.
